Thirteen years ago next month, I launched my freelance writing business with a reporting trip to Miami, Florida, to cover the city’s art scene. At the time Wynwood was a sketchy district where early gallery owners were considered neighborhood pioneers. Just back from my most recent trip where Wynwood’s street art scene is now one of Miami’s biggest tourist destinations.
