I’ll be presenting a special pre-fest workshop, “Write Your Life: Intro to Personal Essay Writing” at noon. Workshop admission is free with a Long Island LitFest ticket but registration is required. I’m a judge for this year’s American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA) Awards for excellence in writing. The ceremony will be held May 5 at the annual ASJA Writers Conference in New York City.

Maxed out capacity for my first “Girls Write Out” writing workshop at Turn of the Corkscrew Books on Long Island. Love encouraging women to write down their personal stories and share them with the group where they can see how their stories touch one another.

Just completed a copywriting project for New York Cruise Lines and its fleet of sightseeing boats including the classic Circle Line. It never gets old. A great way to see New York City.

It’s Girls Night Out—with a twist. I’ll be leading a “Girls Write Out” workshop for women January 27 at 7:30 p.m. at Turn of the Corkscrew Books in Rockville Centre. A series of writing prompts and a glass of wine will help get the creative juices flowing. The vibe is fun, relaxed, super supportive and full of camaraderie. Here are the details.
